VISSZATEKINTŐ#001: John Creamer&Stephane K - I Wish You Were Here

Visszatekintő sorozatunk célja, hogy az elmúlt 13 éve legjobb és legkedvesebb zenéit bemutassuk nektek és természetesen egy rövidke kis történelmet is hozzá teszünk. Ez szól azoknak akik ezeket a zenéket nem ismerhették meg és szól azoknak is, akik ezen nőttek fel. Sokak számára az itt felvonultatott zenék kétség kívül egy könnycseppet hoznak majd elő és persze egy rakás emléket.

Tagadhatatlanul a 2001-es év egyik legnagyobb klubhimnusza volt az 'I Wish You Were Here', amit az akkor 'on fire' Creamer, Stephane K duó jegyzett. A zenéjük bejárta a földünket és nem nagyon tudom elképzelni, hogy volt olyan hétvége amikor ne hallhattuk volna. Hangzásvilága abban az időben (és persze most is) azonnal elvarázsolja az embert.
A Global Underground sorozat Moscow lemezén is ott található, melyet a Deep Dish készített. Halkan tenném hozzá, a sorozat egyik legjobb darabja volt a Moscow.
A Dj&Producer páros hírhedt volt arról, hogy mindenből képesek voltak igényes remixet gyártani. Az elmúlt tíz évben a dal iránti rajongás mit sem lankadt, számtalan verzió készült belőle, de igazi mai hangzásnak megfelelőt nem sikerült összehozni.
Számunkra mégis a legkellemesebb Lexicon Avenue feldolgozása, mely annak idején szinte minden hétvégén hallható volt a klubokban. Persze azt sem szabad elfelejteni, hogy ez a verzió a mai napig játszható egy jó kis estén. Az alábbi videóban megtekinthető és meghallgatható.
